The 2024 Ford Mustang marks the seventh generation of this model, and this newly redesigned coupe offers a slew of tweaks and upgrades. The body of the Mustang is all new, the engines now output more power, and the optional packages offer updated features. What's New for 2024?
Releasing in the summer of 2023, the Ford Mustang will feature a new body design with a more squared grille and a reshaped rear fender. And the powertrains, while still the same, will be upgraded to output more horsepower.
Besides the various style and powertrain changes, Ford also updates the Mustang's optional packages. The Performance Pack adds a front strut-tower brace, Torsen limited-slip differential, wider wheels and tires, larger Brembo brakes, and a MagneRide active-dampening suspension.
Additionally, a new model called the Mustang Dark Horse is being added, which will replace the Mach 1. This model will offer an outrageous 500-hp Coyote V-8 engine and various equipment upgrades.

Performance
The new Mustang will come with multiple powertrain options. The base engine will be an upgraded turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that outputs 315 hp and 350 pound-feet of torque. And every EcoBoost Mustang will be attached to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
